Hi, I’m Richard, although most people know me as Rich. I’m the owner and instructor at DrAnt’s Driving School, providing friendly, professional manual driving lessons across Hull and the surrounding areas.

After spending many years working as a professional driver, I retrained and qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) in 2020. Since then, I’ve helped dozens of learners gain the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to become safe and independent drivers, with many achieving first-time passes.

My approach to teaching is patient, supportive, and tailored to each individual learner. I understand that everyone learns at a different pace, so I adapt lessons to suit your needs, helping you build confidence behind the wheel while ensuring you develop safe driving habits that will last a lifetime.

Alongside running DrAnt’s Driving School, I also work as a fleet trainer, taxi assessor, and road safety course presenter, delivering driver education and road safety training to a wide range of drivers. This broad experience allows me to bring a wealth of real-world driving knowledge into every lesson.

Lessons are conducted in a modern Hyundai i30 manual car equipped with dual controls, providing a comfortable and safe learning environment.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to driving after a break, or preparing for your practical test, my goal is to help you achieve your driving ambitions in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
